What are Affiliate Programs?

Affiliate programs are programs that you sign up for (a lot are free to sign up), then you will have access to the programs’ back offices  some affiliate programs have pre written  ads banners or other types of ads to place. When you sign up, you are given a affiliate link. When you place an ad with your affiliate link and someone clicks on it, it takes them to your affiliate page, and if they purchase anything,  the affiliate company will pay you the commission.

This way, you can get paid for advertising without having to think up a good ad, or set up a website for the selling their products. If you can place the ads in the right places, where they will get a lot of traffic, then you will be able to earn good commissions from the ads.
